What If…

… it was your name at the end of a heavily discussed article?
What you need is:
1: You need to decide your main subject.
When you decide the contenct of your article, you are halfway there. The rest is easy.
Today after some thinking I have decided to write about “How to Write an Article”. Let’s create a simple article, step by step so you will get the point!
2: Collect information about the subject.
I didn’t know myself how to write an article, so I had to do a little research. First I looked on the Internet, everyone was giving his or her opinion and I have collected a lot of knowledge, but that’s not enough… I called a friend who is a linguist and I started asking him questions. He gave me enough help to proceed to the next step.
3: Search for articles on the same subject to find similarities.
As soon as I knew what I was going to write about, I checked again for similarities and differences with similar articles. This helps a lot, because you should not write the same thing. You need to enrich in information, and not overload it.
4: Start writing.
After research, the time to write has come! Open up your papers, open up your word processor and let’s proceed.
5: Find a catchy head title!
Its time to use your imagination! I had many choices when I was about to choose a headline. The first title was “How to Write an Article” which seems to be too common. The second was “Tricks about Article Writing“, which sounds more interesting, but finally I decided to use:
“What if…
… it was your name at the end of a heavily discussed article!” Does this look catchy enough to you?
6: The foreword must have some characteristics.
It has to include some basic information about the main story and give hints about the content without completely giving it away. Furthermore, use a part of the subject to attract the attention of the reader. For example:
“Have you ever tried to write an article and thought you couldn’t? Or even worse, did you ever feel oppressed by your thoughts/objections when reading an article about a controversial issue finding yourself ready to take over? Read on and you will find out how.”
7: Fully develop the content with all details.
Sadly, after long research, I saw that almost all the articles I came across to were based on search engine optimization (SEO) and therefore their titles and even the content are bad because of the word (keyword) repetition. Be creative, don’t be afraid to use different words and meanings, make your article easy to read. Express yourself without caring about SEO; give some good quality to your article.
Write the article using your own style; there are many different styles. If your strong point is humor, then write a humorous article; if it’s irony then go for an ironic one. For example, logical people often keep arithmetical order to justify their arguments. The important thing is to let your readers see you through your article.
8: We give the conclusion with our own special comment on the matter. It should be something smart, spicy or intriguing, giving the reader some food for though. For example:
Don’t expect to become Robin Toner or Dalia Sussman from your first attempt to write an article. But don’t be disappointed either. All it needs is effort, will and practice! Remember; your quality is filtered through your writings.

What a neat looking blog. I really like the design – fun. Your article is great – I take a similar approach for many of my articles. Sometimes I try to get material from my subscribers and from previous content I have posted that was popular.
