There are two main categories of ‘em: the good ones and the evil ones. I will try to subcategorize them so you will get what I mean. Of course, the subcategories are so many, so it will need more than one article to describe them. So we’ll start out with some of them and will keep you posted almost every day!

THE MAIN CATEGORIES

· Good Mother in Law: She is the one that really loves the couple and does her best for the couple relationship to last! Always well dressed, always ready to prepare some food for the “kids” in case they forget to make dinner! She says never no when you ask her to hold the kids for one night so you can go clubbing or even stay alone at home! And the best part; she knows very well when to leave your house.

· Evil Mother in Law: This is the most common “race” of the categories. She has one target in life - ruin your family! Her husband is almost always without opinion. She spends more time in your house than her own. She feeds your kids as much as she can so they will get fat and blame you for it. She never stops crying until she gets what she wants. For her, you are ugly and a loser, so you don’t deserve her blessed offspring. She claims to be old enough to work and she will make you her servant sooner or later. Her food stinks, but you have to exclaim “This food is so good!” You may throw up afterwards, but you don’t want her to hear you! So be quiet…

SUBCATEGORIES

· Clean Mother in Law: she can either be good or evil: depends on how clean your house is. If your house is clean and you do the housework every day, she becomes a good mother in law and everything is fine. If you are not, then she feels that her son or her daughter is in danger and she becomes an Evil mother in Law! She will move in to your place and you will be never allowed to sit on your sofa, or on any chair, cause “she just cleaned it”. You will be not allowed to take a shower because she has just scrubbed the bathtub! In anyway, you will go through a Nightmare! So for your good … be Clean!

· Sophisticated Mother in Law: She knows everything. She started reading in 1908, and encyclopedia is one of her favorite words. She demands that her daughter or her son will find a nice sophisticated person to marry. If you are a sophisticated person and you have read a lot in your life, then you are a lucky one! You have a Good Mother in Law. If you haven’t read that much, or if you hate books no matter how much money you have, you will be hated! The sophisticated mother in law can become one of the worst! All the family will be forced to read everyday, you will be embarrassed to call your friends into your house because she will start asking them questions about strange things that they haven’t even thought about; she will made them look stupid! Your kids will need glasses by year one! If you notice that your mother in law is a sophisticated one, please make her believe that you love books - knowledge is the key word!

· Cheerleader Mother in Law: If you are a man, you have to be the Perfect Man, if you are a woman you have to be a former cheerleader. If you match one of those two options then you are lucky and you have a great mother in Law! She will bring you gifts everyday! New clothes, new makeup and everything you need! You will have free massages three times a week; so will your kids! If you have a “normal” body or if you weren’t a cheerleader, then you have a problem. The Cheerleader Mother In Law can transform into an evil Mother in Law really fast! You will suffer. She will call your spouse almost every day, telling him or her that you are so ugly and ask how she or he can live with you! She will never stop until she ruins your family. Every time you go in the house you will see your kids with funny-colored clothes on. Your significant other will start to raise an eyebrow each time she or he gives you a look! I personally wish you luck!
