“Show me a man with a tattoo and I’ll show you a man with an interesting past.”It will sound classic, but how many people have you heard of or seen getting a tattoo with the name of their girlfriend or boyfriend on their arms? I personally like tattoos, but I think they should be more “selfish”; things that don’t remind you of an event, but means something deeper to you.

I don’t find it cool when you get the same tattoo as a basketball player or a celebrity; it should definately be something more personal. You must be sure before you do it, I would say that you have to do deep research.

First of all you need to decide why are you going to get one, and if you find the reason, then you need to choose a design. There are many Tattoo Designs that make this research quite hard. But once again, you don’t want your tattoo to be the same with someone else’s. It’s something unique, something that you yourself want to have it not share with everyone - I would avoid public galleries, because when I think how many people may have the same tattoo with me, all for different reasons, I don’t think it’s that cool. There are so many categories of designs; there are Dragon Tattoos, Celtic Tattoos, Egyptian Tattoos even Fish tattoos - each one with its own story. I personally prefer the Celtic tattoos and their meaning. Of course it is a matter of “taste”; a tattoo cannot be ugly if the meaning of it is the appropriate one.
