Today we received a letter from Maria that wanted to share with Asdfing, her personal story. After we read it, we realized that she faces a common relationship problem. Let’s try to help her solve this problem.

Hey my name is Robin and I’m from California. I worship story-telling. I stare at the sky all the time- clouds hypnotize me and I own the stars.

What can I say about love, that hasn’t been said? Like most of us, I can’t explain what love is; I can’t describe love with words. I can just tell you that every time I am in love I feel like I’ve drank 10 espressos in a row!

There is a Greek proverb that says: “You can’t hide love or a cough.” It’s true! When you are in love, you can’t hide it! However, most of us are very well trained in hiding our feelings. Although “I love you” are the most beautiful words ever said (or heard), it’s those 3 words which we are most afraid to blurt out. Why? What are we so afraid of? Is it rejection? Are we afraid that the other person will laugh in our face?

Let this year begin with a dream.

Let this dream become an idea.

Let this idea become words, and let those words become actions

Let this year be a new sunrise of hope, happiness, friendship and love

A couple of days ago, my good friend and poet, Captain Bleem, who became known to asdf’ers through his amazing poem “The Search“, shared a few poems with me. These poems are sort of different. They are small, funny and smart. I must have read them at least three times; I couldn’t stop laughing! I thought I should share them with friends on the spot,
so we decided to post them here. They could belong to a category called ‘I Suppose It’s Prose…?”, but I thought it was better to publish them in “Leisure Time”.
After all, is there a better way to pass your time than reading something like this?
If your way of thinking is like his, you’ll love them! If not, you will appreciate his extraordinary mind anyway!

“A good teacher is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others.” If your dream has just started because of a teacher that believes in you; if you see your teacher a as guide in the journey of life, it’s about time to show them your appreciation. Christmas time is a great opportunity to give your teachers a present to show them your love. Here are some suggestions for inexpensive and creative gifts they’ll remember for years.

This Christmas while everybody else will be watching “The Santa Clause” and “It’s A Beautiful Life”, I can’t even stand the thought that I’ll have to watch “Home Alone 2″ one more time… So, I’ll take the alternative choice: I’ll watch all the Japanese horror movies I haven’t seen yet.
