Today I came across the following quote: “If you can get through the twilight, you’ll live through the night.” This made me think about all those self improvement articles and self help books I have read. And I realized that, although most of them really make you feel good at the time you read them, that feeling doesn’t last very long. The next day you may feel like you always have; nothing has really changed.

Have you watched the news lately? It seems that our world is not a very nice place. Pollution, war, antisocial behavior, guns, drugs, murder, thieves. We are all familiar with these words. We all consider them as “bad things”, but still, we are not doing anything about all this. On the contrary, we accept that it all exists in our society – we think its okay; it’s not our fight, that’s what we pay the police for!
